One of a few different versions I wrote... although I was a huge fan of J.J. Cale's when I wrote this, I didn't know he had a song with the same title. When I heard it years later, it became my favorite uptempo thing of his.
Gordie Tentrees has been singing this song of mine on the road for years.
I owe him a few drinks. He does my original 1-4-5 version.
